Our Story

We are a group of grade 8 students whom has created a great new product called "The Zoom Broom". We began making this invention from a science event called "The Science Invention Convention". This science event is designed to encourage students to apply basic science knowledge in a creative and productive manner. We were asked to solve a problem by making something that would overcome the obstacle.

ZOOM BROOM:

The Zoom Broom is a broom that is connected to a dustpan, this is not a broom and dustpan combo, it is a joint material that do not separate but is simple to use. When sweeping, the dustpan does not get disjoint from the broom so, it makes it easier to collect the dust without bending over or losing the dustpan.

This product is very useful in many ways and is simple to use. This product comes built-in ready so there will be no need of an instruction manual or assembling the product. Our invention uses human energy to collect the dust and garbage. The dustpan in our product does not interfere when sweeping, the dustpan is above the bristles of the broom, and comes down when finished sweeping.

There are many benefits of The Zoom Broom that make you want to buy this creation. This product reduces back pain from kneeling down or bending over. It is also easier to sweep because many people lose their dustpan and have to go look for it, while The Zoom Broom comes with a dustpan that is permanently attached.The Zoom Broom is a lot faster to use than the regular broom and dustpan, it can help you to be more organized with your time management.
